I am an honors graduate with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education from
the University of Arizona. I have eight years of teaching experience and this
will be my third year at Valley View. I am a highly qualified educator &
have been certified in both Arizona and Florida.
Besides teaching, I also love Dr. Seuss, reading, music, rain storms, flying
on airplanes, and football. My husband is in the army and loves being a
soldier. I have a 12-year old son, Aidan, and I have 4 year old fraternal
twin girls, Candace and Cassidy. I also have 3 cats, Prince, Knight, and
Nutmeg. Our family likes to play board games together, travel, and watch movies.
Mission
Second grade is an exciting and transitional year! I will strive to instill in
your child a love of learning and a positive attitude towards education. I
will also work hard to ensure your students leave my class with the
foundations they need for academic success.
I have high expectations of my students, but I also strive to provide them
with all of the support, confidence, and skills they need to meet those
standards. I aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all children
to learn and achieve. It is my belief that we are working together as partners
in the education of your child. It is my sincere goal to make this school year
a wonderful learning experience for your child and to include you in that
process.
